Abstract: La florícola “Flowerfest S.A” es una finca ubicada en el Cantón de Cayambe la cual se encuentra presente en el mercado por el lapso de cuatro años produciendo y comercializando rosas de alta calidad logrando así contar con una amplia gama de variedades altamente cotizadas en el mercado estadounidense y europeo. Entre los principales procesos que la florícola maneja: producción y comercialización de rosas, este último es el que en la actualidad mantiene ciertas deficiencias debido a que no se cuenta con un canal directo que permita llegar a los mercados de destino sin intermediarios. Con el fin de solventar este principal inconveniente, se ha planteado la presente investigación y desarrollo del presente documento en este mercado creando un plan de negocios que ayude a la creación de una sucursal en la ciudad de Miami de los Estados Unidos la cual se encargue de comercializar las rosas internamente de una manera directa. Para lograr desarrollar el plan de negocios para la sucursal de la florícola Flowerfest en el mercado de Miami de los E.E.U.U, se realizó en primer lugar un análisis situacional estratégico en el cual se determinó los componentes del micro y macroentorno, así como un estudio del diagnóstico interno de la florícola. Los datos obtenidos mediante este análisis permitiendo identificar claramente las fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas de la sucursal. Posteriormente se desarrolló los componentes del plan de negocios el cual se encuentra compuesto por cinco estudios específicos los cuales consisten en: estudio de mercado, estudio técnico, estudio administrativo y legal y estudio financiero. Cada uno de esto, arrojaron la información necesaria para conocer si el plan propuesto será o no rentable en futuro, así como los requerimientos de personal, de equipo y todo en cuanto al tema legal para poder montar una sucursal en los Estados Unidos. En la investigación de campo del capítulo cuatro, se realizó una encuesta a los clientes potenciales, la cual arroja que si es factible y útil la creación de una sucursal de la florícola que se dedique a potenciar las ventas directas en el mercado de los Estados Unidos a través Flowerfest Internacional. En el estudio financiero, se estableció que la inversión necesaria para la puesta en marcha del plan de negocio será de $ 55.471.47 dólares, monto del cual el 60% será financiado mediante un préstamo bancario y 40% con recursos propios de los socios de la sucursal. Finalmente, en cuanto a los índices financieros más comunes que miden la rentabilidad de un negocio, los resultados fueron los siguientes: para el negocio la TIR es de 99.27%, siendo esta mayor al Costo de Oportunidad de 29.1% indicando de esta manera que el plan de negocios propuesto es viable. El Periodo de Recuperación de la Inversión es de 1 año, 1 mes y 23 días permitiendo que el negocio sea rentable a partir del segundo año de funcionamiento.
Description: The florist "Flowerfest SA" is a farm located in the Cayambe Canton which is present in the market for the lapse of four years producing and marketing roses of high quality thus achieving a wide range of varieties highly quoted in the market American and European. Among the main processes that floriculture handles: production and marketing of roses, the latter is the one that currently maintains certain deficiencies due to the fact that there is no direct channel to reach the destination markets without intermediaries. In order to solve this main problem, the present investigation and development of this document in this market has been created creating a business plan that helps the creation of a branch in the city of Miami of the United States which is in charge of market the roses internally in a direct way. In order to develop the business plan for the Flowerfest floriculture branch in the Miami market in the USA, a strategic situational analysis was carried out in which the micro and macroenvironment components were determined, as well as a diagnostic study internal of the floricultural The data obtained through this analysis allows to clearly identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the branch. Subsequently, the components of the business plan were developed, which is composed of five specific studies which consist of: market study, technical study, administrative and legal study and financial study. Each of this, they threw the necessary information to know if the proposed plan will be or not profitable in the future, as well as the requirements of personnel, equipment and everything regarding the legal issue to be able to set up a branch in the United States. In the field research of chapter four, a survey of potential clients was conducted, which shows that it is feasible and useful to create a branch of the floriculture that is dedicated to promote direct sales in the United States market through Flowerfest International. In the financial study, it was established that the necessary investment for the implementation of the business plan will be $ 55,471.47 dollars, of which 60% will be financed by a bank loan and 40% with own resources of the business partners. Branch office. Finally, regarding the most common financial indices that measure the profitability of a business, the results were as follows: for the business, the IRR is 99.27%, being higher than the Opportunity Cost of 29.1%, indicating that the Proposed business plan is viable. The Investment Recovery Period is 1 year, 1 month and 23 days allowing the business to be profitable after the second year of operation.
