La planificación y manejo turísticos

Abstract

Este trabajo es una tesis de pregrado que tiene como objetivo principal el analizar procesos metodológicos de planificación aplicados al turismo, para ser tomados como modelo teórico. El análisis se sustenta en enfatizar cómo un proceso de planificación que busca ser integral y conciente de la conservación de la naturaleza y de la cultura, ayuda al desarrollo sustentable de regiones y zonas con potencial turístico. Para tal efecto se describen fases de procesos de planificación. Para sistematizar los procesos se ha requerido considerar la planificación en distintos niveles, considerando la perspectiva local, regional y nacional, pero sin dejar de observar que ésta debe ser integral. Para esta tesis se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de textos que incluyen temas sobre planificación, dirección, desarrollo y economía, de forma general y turística se realizaron entrevistas con la coordinadora del proyecto de ecoturismo de la Reserva Maquipucuna y con personal de la Dirección de Planificación de la Corporación Ecuatoriana de Turismo (CETUR). También se recabó información de los documentos de CETUR y la Fundación Maquipucuna. Para lograr un ambiente en que los procesos de planificación se desarrollen de una manera eficiente se requiere: por una parte la capacidad física actual o potencial de los atractivos, y por otra el liderazgo y decisión efectiva de la autoridad pública o privada que promueva y maneje el desarrollo turístico.

This work is an undergraduate thesis that has as main objective the analyze methodological planning processes applied to tourism, to be taken as a theoretical model. The analysis is based on emphasizing how a process of planning that seeks to be integral and aware of the conservation of nature and culture, helps the sustainable development of regions and areas with tourist potential. Information was also collected the documents of CETUR and the Maquipucuna Foundation. To achieve an environment in which the planning processes are developed In an efficient manner, it is required: on the one hand, the current physical capacity or potential of the attractions, and on the other the leadership and effective decision of the authority public or private that promotes and manages tourism development.
