| Resumen : | El turismo se está convirtiendo rápidamente en una de las mayores industrias del mundo y los ingresos generados por el mismo, representan una parte importante de la economía mundial. Las tendencias parecen apuntar a que este fenómeno seguirá creciendo y que en el futuro las personas estarán dispuestas a viajar más y más lejos. Se deriva de la palabra latina "tornus": vuelta o movimiento, la cual se adoptó con ese sentido, aplicándola al "turismo". Es por eso que hoy cuando se ofrece un viaje turístico, se refiere a un movimiento de personas que se trasladan o viajan por placer, se les invita a participar de un "tour" a determinado destino. |
| Descripción : | Tourism is rapidly becoming one of the largest industries in the world and the income generated by it represents an important part of the world economy. The trends seem to indicate that this phenomenon will continue to grow and that in the future people will be willing to travel farther and farther. It is derived from the Latin word "tornus": turn or movement, which was adopted with that meaning, applying it to "tourism". That is why today when a tourist trip is offered, it refers to a movement of people who move or travel for pleasure, they are invited to participate in a "tour" to a certain destination. |
