Guía informativa, folclórica y gastronómica de las provincias: Esmeraldas, Guayas y Manabí

Abstract

El país ha sido promocionado internacionalmente tan solo por sus atractivos naturales y culturales pero nunca se han tomado en cuenta otros propios y quizá con igual o mayor atractivo es por eso que este documento esta hecho con el fin de hacer conocer todas las riquezas naturales, folclóricas y gastronómicas que tiene la Costa Ecuatoriana. La costa del Ecuador es una zona pródiga en recursos naturales que permiten presentar a su gastronomía como la más variada y rica de Latinoamérica, esa variedad y la habilidad de su gente así lo presentan. En la actualidad no existe un medio por el cual se haga conocer estos valores, existen guías turísticas que contienen mapas, lugares turísticos, direcciones de tiendas, restaurantes pero no podemos encontrar una guía gastronómica que nos explique el contenido de cada plato con su significado. Muchas veces he encontrado a gente extranjera y me han preguntado ¿Qué es un ceviche? ¿Qué es un viche? etc. Por esta y muchas otras razones decidí hacer una guía informativa, gastronómica y folclórica de la costa ecuatoriana para presentar el potencial atractivo que tiene nuestro país en especial la costa y se lo y se lo pueda vender como producto turístico. La guía contiene información general, folclórica y gastronómica de las Provincias Esmeraldas, Manabí, Guayas; por ser las zonas más representativas del litoral ecuatoriano por su extensión, población, movimiento económico, infraestructura, facilidades.
