Description: The objective of this project is to carry out a study of the internal combustion engine of the Chevrolet Optra Limited 2008 1.8 CC vehicle, to analyze the data provided by the manufacturer and present the calculated data that were taken from bibliographic references. The introduction of this project has technical information about internal combustion engines, technical data of the Holden GM Family E-TEC II engine and information about the Chevrolet Optra Limited 1800 cc vehicle. The method will analyze thermodynamic calculations such as pressures in the four engine cycles, combustion temperatures, mechanical losses, effective power of the engine as well as the study of the speed, displacement and acceleration of the alternative train. The results will include an explanatory analysis of the graphs and characteristic curves of the operation of the Holden GM Family E-TEC II engine using the data calculated in the method part.
