Description: The purpose of the Diesel Injection Pump System is to introduce the fuel, at high pressure in the combustion chambers of the various cylinders of the engine. The amount of fuel to be injected in each cycle of engine operation depends a lot on the characteristics of the same, the operating regime, a high internal pressure inside the camera and the need to get an Good fuel mixture with the air so that the combustion is complete. The purpose of the fuel injection pump system is achieved with work made by the entire system, the same that goes from the fuel tank to Finish in the injector. The research is part of one of the subjects that always has been linked to the Automotive Engineer since the beginning of this branch of engineering. In this research, the mixture formation systems of the diesel engines, commonly called fuel injection systems, which are intimately linked to the combustion process since the development of the combustion in these engines strongly depends on the fundamental parameters that characterize fuel injection. It is necessary to keep in mind that in the diesel engines burns a heterogeneous mixture that begins to form within the cylinder from the moment the first drop of fuel penetrates but that, a Self ignition and the period of rapid combustion usually occurred for a time, the formation of the mixture with the combustion itself and therefore the speed with which it progresses is conditioned by it. Subsequently analyze each of the injection systems starting from the online pump more traditional to the current more sophisticated and precise as the "common rail" that allow to reach the level of benefits This analysis is done under one structure: applications, operating principle and control systems
