Description: The following degree project is dedicated to the design of a frame for a buggy all-terrain vehicle for a pilot and a companion. For the design, it will take into account both the safety of its occupants and the correct sizing of the tube to be used for its construction. Additionally, an engine that can be efficient for this type of vehicle will be recommended since it needs both power to reach good speed and a good torque to be used in any type of terrain, whether earth, mud, stone, asphalt or including snow. Likewise, two different models will be proposed using the same design with the difference in tube diameter. This will serve to compare the results and find the advantages of an efficient tube diameter. What is intended with this design of this frame, is to encourage the mass production of this type of vehicles and be able to export them as the first Ecuadorian buggies of mass production. Currently these are manufactured in a traditional way because the market does not allow for a factory to be set up. This is due to the little interest of people in this type of vehicle since these tend to have high costs. The reason that this design is intended for the use of two people, is because its main use will be the rent in the main tourist cities of the country, in this way a more entertaining way to get to know the country is proposed.
