Diseño de memoria de sostenibilidad para la fase de construcción del poliducto la Troncal-Cuenca

Abstract

El diseño de la Memoria de Sostenibilidad para la fase de construcción del Poliducto La Troncal-Cuenca se fundamentó en los lineamientos establecidos en la Norma ISO 26000 y la Guía para Elaboración de Memorias de Sostenibilidad del Global Reporting Initiative. El principal factor a destacar en la elaboración de este reporte es el estudio de materialidad, obtenido mediante la identificación de los aspectos ambientales, económicos y sociales relevantes, tanto para la empresa como para sus stakeholders, utilizando una metodología que permitió conocer sus distintas percepciones y proporcionó un insumo importante en la elaboración de indicadores de desempeño sostenible. El estudio además comprende una revisión bibliográfica de la Responsabilidad Social y su relación con el Desarrollo Sostenible. Los indicadores reportados reflejan la realidad de la gestión en este aspecto llevada a cabo en el poliducto La Troncal-Cuenca de EP PETROECUADOR, y proporcionan la oportunidad de mejora continua mediante el establecimiento de estrategias y actividades a ser implementadas y evaluadas en futuras investigaciones.

The design of the Sustainability Report for the construction phase of the La Troncal-Cuenca Pipeline was based on the guidelines established in ISO 26000 and the Guide for the Preparation of Sustainability Reports of the Global Reporting Initiative. The main factor to be highlighted in the preparation of this report is the study of materiality, obtained through the identification of the relevant environmental, economic and social aspects, both for the company and for its stakeholders, using a methodology that allowed knowing their different perceptions and provided an important input in the development of sustainable performance indicators. The study also includes a bibliographic review of Social Responsibility and its relationship with Sustainable Development. The reported indicators reflect the reality of management in this aspect carried out in the La Troncal basin of EP PETROECUADOR, and provide the opportunity for continuous improvement by establishing strategies and activities to be implemented and evaluated in future research.
