In Imbabura there are more tourist attractions than its emblematic lakes and its crafts, this province has other very interesting points of interest, for example its topography include the Imbabura and Cotocachi volcanoes that give a landscape touch to the place. This province is known for its diverse population contrasts, which are marked by different demographic elements, and artisanal that has always been the nerve center of the area. Imbabura has great wealth thanks to the hands of its artisans who are a reference in terms of design, sculpture and painting in Ecuador, there are several cantons that highlight this activity an example of this is Ibarra in the parish of San Antonio where it would be important to provide a space where the inhabitants of the parish can learn more about their culture and learn about their traditions that over time can be lost little by little. Due to this and other elements, one of the purposes is to provide a complete equipment in which the inhabitants know and learn more about their culture, because when developing handcrafted pieces, observe objects representative of the imbaburean culture, the knowledge of generation in generation and help to the future artisan hands of this population. Therefore, the training and exhibition centers of the different national cultural values, conceived as tools of education, are necessary in this society for the knowledge of a cultural identity and a correct functioning of society. Understanding what surrounds us is not only looking at space as a terrain or object in white ready to be used, because every place has life and dynamics that occurs inside or outside of it. Understanding the place is to feel beyond the visible, is to begin to abstract the actions and circumstances with their colors, textures in order to think about the direct and indirect relationships that occur. This physical space should have as its main objective, to transmit the knowledge to all future generations of artisans with the exhibition of the works achieved in San Antonio to promote an identity of the population in Ecuador.
