Diseño de un museo etnográfico para la Ciudad de Esmeraldas

Abstract

La Provincia de Esmeraldas ha sido conocida por su música gastronomía, danza, la capital de la Provincia Verde, como también se la conoce, es un importante puerto y sede de la principal refinería de petróleo crudo. Histórico bastión indígena, y afro una región de bosques, manglares y preciosas playas donde el clima termina de componer una tierra paradisíaca. Este sector del país carece de un espacio en el cual se puedan exhibir, aprender las expresiones culturales que se presentan en este lugar del Ecuador, por eso el planteamiento de realizar un Museo para la ciudad. Es importante proveer un espacio donde los habitantes de la provincia puedan saber más de su cultura y tradiciones que poco a poco se pueden ir perdiendo con la globalización. Debido a esto un propósito es dotar de este equipamiento en el que los pobladores conozcan más de su civilización, creencias y costumbres. Mostrar piezas de la Cultura Tolita, observar objetos representativos de la cultura esmeraldeña, explicar la historia de las etnias que se han asentado en este lugar. Por lo tanto, los centros de exhibición de los valores culturales nacionales, concebidos como instrumentos de la educación, son necesarios en nuestra sociedad, para la toma de conciencia social, política y cultural, siendo la divulgación su característica primordial. La orientación que se dé a este espacio físico debe tener como función primordial el de llegar a todos los habitantes de país, y conocer la cultura en sus diferentes manifestaciones y niveles, de esta manera el hombre incrementara su conciencia histórica y social, como individuos integrantes de una nación y a la vez diferenciados en el contexto universal

It is important to provide a space where the inhabitants of the province can learn more about their culture and traditions that can be lost little by little with globalization. Because of this, one purpose is to provide this equipment in which the villagers know more about their civilization, beliefs and customs. Show pieces of the Tolita Culture, observe objects representative of the Esmeralda culture, explain the history of the ethnic groups that have settled in this place. Therefore, the exhibition centers of national cultural values, conceived as instruments of education, are necessary in our society, for the social, political and cultural awareness, being the disclosure its main characteristic. The orientation that is given to this physical space must have as its main function to reach all the inhabitants of the country, and to know the culture in its different manifestations and levels, in this way man will increase his historical and social conscience, as integral individuals of a nation and at the same time differentiated in the universal context
