Abstract

The objective of this research work is to evaluate the business sustainability of the Provincial Decentralized Autonomous Government of Santa Elena through the methodology of the guide for the preparation of sustainability reports of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI); so that an adequate analysis was carried out to identify the issues or aspects that have significant economic, environmental and social impacts on the Provincial Decentralized Autonomous Government. Once the materiality of the institution was analyzed, it was established to raise indicators of each of these, with the purpose of measuring the performance of the organization, in this way in the economic dimension the GRI 201-1 was reported, where the value is detailed. direct economic generated and distributed; On the other hand, in the social dimension, the GRI 401-1 indicators are mentioned, which mention the total number of employees, new hires, and staff and environmental turnover, in the same way, GRI 403 is detailed, which talks about the security system and occupational health of the Provincial Decentralized Autonomous Government of Sana Elena and finally, in the environmental dimension, GRI 301-1 is mentioned, detailing the materials used in the institution's value chain.
