Abstract: | Objectives: To evaluate the ergonomic risk due to forced postures in the Pineapple Tree Harvest area. Method: The study was observational, cross-sectional and descriptive, carried out in a pineapple exporting company in the city of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, during the month of November 2021 - December 2021. The Kuorinka Nordic Questionnaire and the ergonomic OWAS method were used. Results: The main symptom reported in the Nordic Questionnaire is dorsal or lumbar pain in 88% of workers, followed by wrist or hand pain with 80% of cases. The ergonomic evaluation by the OWAS method showed that 65.63% of the postures are unacceptable, highlighting the flexed and flexed and twisted back, in the body segment legs was, both knees bent and support leg flexed. Conclusions: The activities carried out by the workers of the pineapple growing area are of high risk, requiring corrective measures in a timely manner |
Description: | Objetivos: Evaluar el riesgo ergonómico por posturas forzadas en el área de Cosecha de Hijuelos de Piña Método: El estudio fue de tipo observacional, transversal y descriptivo, realizado en una empresa exportadora de piña en la ciudad de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, durante el mes de noviembre 2021 - diciembre 2021. Se usó el Cuestionario Nórdico de Kuorinka y el método ergonómico OWAS. Resultados: El principal síntoma reportado en el Cuestionario Nórdico es el dolor dorsal o lumbar en el 88% de los trabajadores, seguido por el dolor de muñeca o mano con el 80% de casos. La evaluación ergonómica por el método OWAS evidenció que el 65,63% de las posturas son inaceptables, destacándose la espalda flexionada, y flexionada y torsionada, en el segmento corporal piernas fue, ambas rodillas flexionadas y pierna de apoyo flexionada. Conclusiones: Las actividades que ejecutan los trabajadores del área de cosecha de hijuelos de piña son de alto riesgo, necesitando medidas correctivas de forma oportuna. |
