Estrategias para la construcción de un entorno laboral saludable: la experiencia de una empresa del sector tecnológico

Abstract

The construction of a healthy work environment becomes an imperative in the current organizational model, which implies influencing objective and subjective aspects of work, as well as promoting health strategies that require changes in paradigm and habits. This article traces the journey of a technology company towards the construction of a healthy work environment, recognizing the stages of the Change Model proposed by Prochaska and Diclemente, so this study aims to encourage the actions of the agents that motivate change and that, regardless of the stage in which the organization is, there are always strategies to accompany each one, which concludes that the transition to a eugenic work environment is not only possible, but also necessary. Objectives: Systematize the process of building the foundations of a healthy work environment in a company in the technology sector. Method: Qualitative research, according to object of study is descriptive; Qualitative analysis was used for data processing and a survey was conducted as a strategy oriented to the affective component. Results: A staff survey was conducted as a strategy oriented to the affective component, as a starting point for the construction of a healthier mental environment. Conclusion: 1) It was possible to introduce the concept of a healthy work environment because of the initiatives aimed at reaching out to employees emotionally; 2) The participation and commitment of leaders is required as a fundamental strategy to build a healthy work environment from work teams.
