Abstract

parish in the Otavalo canton that belongs to the province of Imbabura, Ecuador, surrounded by a wonderful natural landscape overlooking the Imbabura volcano and the Cotacachi volcano, located 3km from the city of Otavalo. The objective of the Degree Work is to design a Gastronomic Center with local products that functions as a platform for the exhibition and sale of traditional food in the sector and in turn helps to promote gastronomy through tasting and production spaces. Based on the analysis of the sector focused on the concept of landscape, the focus of the project is to include in the architectural object a program in which public and private spaces are articulated in relation to gastronomic activities that are symbolic part of the parish culture . Taking into account the architecture of the place, the project must be related to materials, adapt and recover spaces through architecture and landscape. Through this architectural object will be added value to the food and cultural production of the parish.
