Diseño arquitectónico polifuncional dentro de un prototipo de súper-manzana en el sector noroeste del parque Bicentenario

Abstract

El presente proyecto consiste en la reorganización y reestructuración de un área en conflicto. Esta reestructuración urbana está dirigida a recuperar dicha área al norte de la ciudad de Quito, mejorando el entorno y la calidad de vida de quienes habitan en esta. Una intervención integral en los barrios Betania y El Rosario ubicados al noroeste del Parque Bicentenario, con el objetivo de crear una conexión entre estos dos barrios, el sector oriente y occidente de la ciudad, y el Parque Bicentenario por medio de una Súper-Manzanas. Una Súper-Manzana que pretende dar a estos barrios una nueva imagen y a la ciudad un eslabón que pueda conectar todas las zonas del norte del Parque Bicentenario. Este proyecto dejará una huella tanto en la estructura física como en el tejido urbano de la ciudad. Un complejo polifuncional que contiene áreas de recreación, ocio, comercio, vivienda, y espacios públicos que estarán a disposición de los habitantes del norte de la cuidad. Cada función es un complemento para los distintos equipamientos del sector, diseñando así: un Centro de Negocios, Agencias Bancarias internacionales, Hotel, Auditorios, Galerías, Cines y una Biblioteca.

The present project consists in the reorganization and restructuring of an area in conflict. This urban restructuring is aimed at recovering this area north of the city of Quito, improving the environment and the quality of life of those who inhabit it. An integral intervention in the Betania and El Rosario neighborhoods located northwest of the Bicentennial Park, with the objective to create a connection between these two neighborhoods, the east and west sector of the city, and the Bicentennial Park by means of a Super-Apples. A Super-Apple that aims to give these neighborhoods a new image and to the city a link that can connect all the northern areas of the Bicentennial Park. This project will leave a mark on both the physical structure and the urban fabric of the city. A multi-functional complex that contains recreational areas, leisure, commerce, housing, and public spaces that will be available to the inhabitants of the north of the city. Each function is a complement for the different equipments of the sector, designing like this: a Business Center, International Banking Agencies, Hotel, Auditoriums, Galleries, Cinemas and a Library.
