Redes de apoyo y niveles de diferenciación en mujeres víctimas de violencia

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship to support networks and levels of differentiation in women victims of violence, considering factors such as age, marital status, type of support, family and social support, among others, described in local and Latin American research, also taking into account the family influence in the contexts of violence. This study has a qualitative and descriptive approach, the application of the Couple and Stereotype Support Questionnaire, (Ecuador), which identifies support networks for women who have suffered gender violence. There were 10 women victims of violence in the first reception room of the Ambato General Teaching Hospital. Obtaining as results: the evidence that women have a tendency to repeat stereotypes related to the family's level of acceptance of violence, in addition to permissive levels against it, 37% of women surveyed do not have their own income, compared to to 63% that it does. It is concluded that support networks play a fundamental role in differentiating themselves in relation to violence for a better quality of life.
