The international society in which we currently live is unfortunately characterized as a closed, conflictive and deliberative society. In this framework, the international protection of Human Rights becomes a very important issue that has given rise to a series of international norms whose application must occur both in the internal and external order of the countries. The international community maintains the great responsibility of codifying and applying Human Rights as autonomous rights, with a universal vocation and its own contents, which incorporate a positive conception of peace, inculcate the absence of violence and precaute the interest not only individual but also collective The humanity. Despite the great development that has been achieved by society and man in recent centuries, it is clear that there is still an alarming atmosphere of violence and global destruction that reminds us of the worst of past times such as crimes against humanity, massacres en masse, the violation of human integrity and the mass expulsion of peoples. In the presence of such reality, we see completely convenient to carry out an analysis of the impact that the International Instances have on the defense of human rights in Ecuador and in the world. For this purpose we will start by analyzing the most important International Treaties and Conventions celebrated in this regard, which through the work carried out by the United Nations Organization and the Organization of American States, have allowed the institutionalization of a legal regime of peace. and international security that have forced the signatory States to abide by numerous limitations in the management and defense of human rights. By the end of the work, two of the most important cases that have established precedents in the field of Human Rights in Ecuador will be studied.-
