dc.description	There is a growing trend in Latin America and the world to study and evaluate psychosocial risks in the workplace. It is worth asking whether this trend applies to the context of Ecuador. Therefore, this study aimed to de-scribe, through a bibliometric analysis, scientific articles that assess one or more psychosocial risks in the Ecuadorian work context. Twenty-three articles were retrieved that met eligibility criteria out of a total of 176 candidates. The analysis of these articles found that the growing trend to study and evaluate psychosocial risks in the workplace is replicated in Ecuador. It was also found that there is a variety of authors, affiliations, and journals interested in the topic, operating in a scattered manner. Additionally, it was found that there is a significant emphasis on research on education and health workers, an interest in correlational studies, and a gap in creating proposals for risk control. Based on these findings, this study concludes that it is recommendable to consolidate the existing professional efforts in Ecuador on this topic, and that it is possible to channel new efforts towards the identified gaps.	es
dc.description.abstract	Existe en Latinoamérica y el mundo una tendencia creciente por estudiar y evaluar los riesgos psicosociales en el trabajo. Cabe preguntarse si está tendencia aplica al contexto de Ecuador. Por lo tanto, este estudio se planteó describir, a través de un análisis bibliométrico, los artículos científicos que evalúen uno o más riesgos psicosociales en el contexto laboral del país. Se recuperaron 23 artículos que cumplieron con estándares de elegibilidad de un total de 176 candidatos. El análisis de estos artículos encontró que la tendencia creciente por estudiar y evaluar riesgos psicoso-ciales en el trabajo se replica en Ecuador. También se halló que existe variedad de autores, afiliaciones y revistas in-teresadas en el tema, que operan de manera dispersa. Además, se encontró: un énfasis importante por la investigación sobre trabajadores de la educación y de la salud, un interés por los estudios correlacionales, y una brecha para crear propuestas de control de riesgos. En base a estos hallazgos, este estudio concluye que es recomendable consolidar los esfuerzos profesionales ya existentes en Ecuador en este tema; y que es posible canalizar nuevos esfuerzos hacia las brechas identificadas.	es
