dc.description	Objetivos: Evaluar el nivel de riesgo postural durante el manejo de pacientes en el personal de enfermería mediante la metodología MAPO y el cuestionario nórdico para establecer su relación con la frecuencia de trastorno músculo esquelético. Método: El estudio se desarrolló mediante un diseño de enfoque cuantitativo y de alcance descriptivo. La población se compuso de 33 enfermeros(as) y 13 auxiliares de enfermería de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de un Hospital en Quito. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario Nórdico y la metodología MAPO. Resultados: Se encontró un nivel medio de exposición al riesgo por movilización manual de pacientes, y dolor frecuente en la región lumbar, dorsal y cervical.	es
dc.description.abstract	Objectives: To evaluate the level of postural risk during the management of patients in the nursing staff using the MAPO methodology and the Nordic questionnaire to establish its relationship with the frequency of musculoskeletal pain. Method: The study was developed through a design with a quantitative approach and a descriptive scope. The population was made up of 33 nurses and 13 nursing assistants from the Intensive Care Unit of a Hospital in Quito. The instruments used were the Nordic Questionnaire and the MAPO methodology. Results: A medium level of exposure to risk was found due to manual mobilization of patients, and frequent pain in the lumbar, dorsal and neck regions.	es
