Objective: Therefore, it is proposed to collect scientific information on work stress during the current pandemic, through a systematic review to see the state of the art. Method: qualitative systematic review of search of scientific articles obtained from scientific databases, applying the prism methodology. Results: 200 scientific articles were recovered, in Spanish and English, considering the quality of the research, publication date (2015 to 2020), verifiability of the information, excluding duplicate scientific articles, obtaining 29 investigations, coded in a master list. Conclusion: Work stress has a greater impact with the current COVID-19 pandemic, due to the entire current context, fake news, new forms of work, social isolation, management of new technologies, reduction of wages, showing a greater impact on workers in critical services, considered as frontline workers. The scientific research available on COVID-19 related to work stress yields a large amount of information, making it necessary to synthesize scientific evidence, which provides a high level of quality, allowing the generation of new research hypotheses, identifying aspects not studied or using it as a tool for decision-making in the field of occupational health.es
