dc.descriptionThe purpose of this research is to describe and explore the characteristics of dependency on women who have been victims of violence and who filed a complaint with the State General Attorney of the Province of Pichincha in the city of Quito. Materials and methods: It was applied an exploratory and descriptive type of qualitative methodology that investigates the relationship between emotional dependence and violence. The sample used is 17 women and the instrument that was applied is the Aiquipa Tello Emotional Dependence Inventory (IDE). Results: The studied group helped to identify that women who have been victims of violence obtained high scores on almost all scales of the IDE inventory except for the scale related to control and domain. Conclusion: High levels of emotional dependence were found in women victims of violence. There was also a high level of power and dominance exercised by women in their relationships. Two scores of 100 out of 100 were found which makes it necessary to carry out specific studies that allow identifying elements that are not evident in the IDE.es
dc.description.abstractEsta investigación tiene como objetivo describir y explorar las características de la dependencia emocional presente en las mujeres que han sido víctimas de violencia y que hicieron la denuncia en Fiscalía General del Estado de la Provincia de Pichincha en la ciudad de Quito. Materiales y métodos: Se aplicó una metodología cualitativa de tipo exploratorio y descriptivo que investiga la relación entre la dependencia emocional y la violencia. La muestra utilizada es de 17 mujeres y el instrumento que se aplicó es el Inventario de Dependencia Emocional (IDE). Resultados: El grupo estudiado contribuye a identificar que las mujeres víctimas de violencia obtienen puntuaciones altas en casi todas las escalas del IDE, a excepción de la escala referente a control y dominio. Conclusión: En las mujeres víctimas de violencia se encontró altos niveles de dependencia emocional; también se evidenció un alto nivel de poder y dominio ejercido por las mujeres en sus relaciones de pareja. Se encontró dos puntuaciones de 100 sobre 100 lo que hace necesario realizar estudios específicos que permitan identificar elementos que no se evidencian en el IDE.es
