We proceeded to choose a mannequin with which the measurements of exposure to noise can be made to the operators of a call center. Technically, the standards are not as rigorous for this topic since in Ecuador the measurements that are made are environmental, but not the noise that a call center operator receives, which is why it was obtained in all the tests made invalid when interpreting the exhibition To noise by means of the manikin, the results oscillate between 14.4 and 19 dB. The methodology used was hypothetical - deductive since, based on the hypothesis, we developed the laboratory tests. Dosimetries were performed to verify the functionality of the manikin obtaining results not so relevant compared to the sound source that had an average noise level of 82.91dB and the results obtained by the manikin range from 64 to 67 dB. As a conclusion, it was determined that by not having a datum in the standard that tells us the thickness and type of material that the mannequin must have, you can not obtain parallel results, since all the tests performed in the laboratory could not reach to have an approximation between the sound source. The manikin can present problems since it is not a solid body and the vacuum of its interior causing the noise to be dispersed and making the measurements by means of the dosimeter do not approach the results of the sound source.es
