The present research work on the mechanical and thermal characterization of the recycled Nylon obtained from the tire recycling process is carried out to determine its possible applications in the automotive sector. The characterization of natural fibers as reinforcement in a matrix of composite material increased considerably in the industry, the Nylon tire recycling does not specify studies to determine its application. Carry out the mechanical and thermal characterization of the recycled tire Nylon. The characterization was made with composite material samples obtained with the mixture of resin and nylon fiber, the concentrations of the fiber was 5% by the manual stratification method, which was carried out under the ASTM D3039 / D3039M standards. -17 for tensile tests, and ASTM D7264 / D7264M-15 for bending tests and ISO 8302 thermal conductivity test. They showed a variation between the force at the last traction, resistance and modulus of elasticity according to the configuration of the wool type and yarn type fiber. The thermal conductivity reached a value of 0.149 W / m-k for all the samples analyzed. It was concluded that the concentration of fiber in its wool-like configuration with addition of styrene increased the mechanical properties of the compounds, as well as it could be observed in the simulation of the autopart for lateral impact an increase in displacements according to test references establishedes
