dc.descriptionIn Canton Latacunga there are 3,264 people with motor and sensory disabilities, of which 4.68% have an age range of 4 to 12 years, for this number of children there is only one specialized education center that is not suitable for the needs and does not meet the requirements of the users. The project aims to give an architectural answer to this problem, generating an Inclusive Education Center that welcomes children with disabilities sensory and motor drive of the city together with children from rural areas surrounding the sector. The proposed design strategies help create an easy school understanding for children with sensory impairment and that in this way they can unfold without any difficulty within the establishment. The building is divided into two areas, in the public area is the library and the auditorium which are intended for the use of the children of the center and for the inhabitants of the sector while in the private one there are the classrooms, spaces administrative and recreationales
dc.description.abstractEn el Cantón Latacunga existe 3.264 personas con discapacidad motriz y sensorial, de los cuales el 4.68 % tienen un rango de edad de 4 a 12 años, para este número de niños existe únicamente un centro de educación especializada que no es adecuado para las necesidades y no satisface los requerimientos de los usuarios. El proyecto tiene como objetivo dar una respuesta arquitectónica a esta problemática, generando un Centro de Educación Inclusiva que acoja a niños con discapacidad sensorial y motriz de la ciudad conjuntamente con los niños de las áreas rurales aledañas al sector. Las estrategias de diseño planteadas ayudan a crear una escuela de fácil comprensión para los niños con discapacidad sensorial y que de esta manera ellos puedan desenvolverse sin ninguna dificultad dentro del establecimiento . La edificación se divide en dos áreas, en el área publica se encuentra la biblioteca y el auditorio los cuales están destinados para el uso de los niños del centro y para los pobladores del sector mientras que en la privada se encuentran las aulas , espacios administrativos y recreativoses
