The present work seeks to determine the feasibility of introducing a new company, to the strawberries market, dedicated to both production and marketing of this fruit, likewise, aims to verify the accessibility and profitability of strawberries in the Ecuadorian market, specifically in Quito, analyzing strawberry demand in supermarkets and wholesale markets of the city to determine the best alternative so that the company can allocate its production to the local market. Additionally, this study has been considered in order to demonstrate that in the agricultural area not only traditional products, such as coffee, bananas, they are a very important source for the entrance of foreign currency to the country, but products such as strawberry, pineapple, mango, are new production alternatives, that are opening market and that despite not giving an income to the country relatively high compared to traditional products, due to mainly due to the lack of support for producers and the lack of promotion of the same for export, are healthy, high quality products that can be marketed in high volume increased thus the sources of entry into the country, promoting the sources of work and income of the inhabitants of rural sectors. Through the present study it was possible to identify that the location appropriate for the company is in the parish of Ascázubi, that for its climate and services, provide the project with the necessary conditions to carry it out; Likewise, the land to be used is one hectare, which, for reason for obtaining greater profitability and not investing in the acquisition of same, which is the strongest exit at the start of every project, it was decided rent it for USD 400 per year. The production will be 40,800 kilos per year of strawberries in the first year and that the plants need a period of adaptation, where the maximum point production is reached three months after sowing, after this time and for the following years, production will remain stable in 48,960 kilos per year; this total production has already discounted 15% of waste that is obtained on average from the harvest. All the production obtained will be destined exclusively to the Supermaxi, since according to the data obtained in the Market Study, this supermarket has a demand of 18,360 kilos per month and even though The Wholesale Market exceeds its demand with 1015 kilos per month, Supermaxi, you can receive the entire production of the project, approving us as suppliers together with the 3 companies that supply the same as La Hacienda, Frutinida and El Huerto. Of this amount, 62% will be own capital, with contributions of USD 5,000 by each of the three partners, the difference of USD 9,140, which represents 38% of the initial investment, will be financed with a credit banking at 3 years at an annual rate of 18%. The Financial evaluation, together with the results obtained from the VANA indicators with an amount of USD 112,383, the TIRE of 97.39% and a period of 9 months to recover the investment, show the feasibility of carry out this project, thus contributing to the development of the agricultural sector of the country, as well as generating new sources of employment.-
