Thus, based on the importance of its generation and distribution, the potential use of thermal treatments whose purposes are focused on the reduction of volumes to be disposed of in sanitary landfills, the appearance of vectors and, mainly, the environment, are contextualized within the framework of environmental health. use of resources with their due intrinsic value and possible energy valuation contained in the waste. This research project aims to explain those definitions and more general aspects that arise in the waste / environment, for this reason, the objective was based on the determination of moisture and ash percentages to analyze the feasibility of using the waste for use energetic. The methodology used followed steps described by Dr. Kunitoshi Sakurai, who shows representative samples taken from quartzes after the homogenization of the waste; which also gave way to its characterization to contribute to a database of the place. Therefore, based on the results obtained from both field and laboratory experiments, it could be determined that the climatology of the place as well as the molecular and surface humidity that each material possesses are determining factors in terms of the percentage of moisture they contain. the RSU, showing in the month of July and April, with values of 80.37% and 79.37% respectively, higher concentrations of this parameter; while in February and May, with values of 60.45% and 53.18% respectively, they obtained lower humidity concentrations. The percentage in weight of ashes revealed that in the month of July with 5.69% and March with 6.37%, lower values were obtained. While in the months of February and May, 18.63% and 19.37% respectively, reflected very high values. Finally, in the determination of the percentage of loss by calcination, it was reflected superior to the other months in April and July, with values of 96.65% and 95.19% respectively, demonstrating that the present material possessed incinerable properties almost in its entirety.
