Determinación del volumen de fundas plásticas comerciales en las estaciones de transferencia del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito en el año 2013-2014

Abstract

En el presento trabajo se determinó el volumen y el peso de las fundas plásticas comerciales en las Estaciones de transferencia del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito en el año 2013 y 2014. El muestreo se lo realizó desde el mes de noviembre del 2013 y se culminó lo primeros días del mes de julio del año 2014. Los muestreos se realizaron en su mayoría en los días laborales de la semana y se utilizó el método del cuarteo, el cual consiste en dividir la muestra en cuartos y utilizar la muestra optima, de la cual posteriormente se procedió a dividir las fundas plásticas comerciales del resto de residuos obtenidos, consecutivamente se realizó un análisis completo de cada muestra obtenida y se pudo determinar el volumen y peso de las fundas plásticas comerciales en la muestra obtenida, y de esta manera determinar durante el período de muestreo que casa comerciales es la que presenta una mayor cantidad de fundas plásticas y cuales son biodegradables y no biodegradables.

In the present work, the volume and weight of the commercial plastic bags were determined in the transfer stations of the Metropolitan District of Quito in 2013 and 2014. The sampling was carried out since November 2013 and the first days of the month of July of the year 2014. The samplings were made mostly on weekdays of the week and the quartering method was used, which consists of dividing the sample into quarters and using the optimal sample, from which later the commercial plastic bags were divided from the rest of the obtained residues, consecutively a complete analysis of each sample obtained was made and the volume and weight of the commercial plastic bags in the obtained sample could be determined, and in this way to determine during the period of sampling that commercial house is the one that presents a greater quantity of plastic covers and which are biodegradable and non-biodegradable.
