Abstract: Las oportunidades de negocio han evolucionado con el tiempo y el Ecuador ha implementado la modalidad de franquiciar marcas nacionales e internacionales, con el objetivo de diversificar las ideas de negocios y desarrollar la economía. El proyecto se desarrolló considerando la oportunidad que tiene la ciudad de Latacunga, al manifestar una demanda insatisfecha sobre la marca KFC. Después del estudio realizado, se afirma que existe un 87% de demanda real insatisfecha, quienes están dispuestos a consumir y pagar en promedio $ 3.50 para adquirir productos de KFC. El estudio realizado indica que el monto aproximado de inversión es de $ 480000.00, para el que se requiere la participación de inversionistas y de acuerdo al monto de utilidad se repartirán los respectivos dividendos. KFC es una empresa consciente de su responsabilidad como institución, manteniendo excelentes incentivos para sus empleados y desarrollando proyectos con responsabilidad social empresarial dirigida hacia el bienestar de la sociedad. De acuerdo al análisis financiero realizado se puede afirmar que es un proyecto rentable, con un período de recuperación de la inversión de 4 años aproximadamente, con un VAN positivo de $ 1004550.37 y una TIR de 52.37%.
Description: Business opportunities have evolved over time and Ecuador has implemented the modality of franchising national and international brands, with the aim to diversify business ideas and develop the economy. The project was developed considering the opportunity that the city of Latacunga has, manifest an unsatisfied demand on the KFC brand. After the study, it is stated that there is an 87% of unmet real demand, who are willing to consume and pay on average $ 3.50 to purchase products from KFC. The study indicates that the approximate amount of investment is $ 480000.00, for which requires the participation of investors and according to the amount of profit is divide the respective dividends. KFC is a company aware of its responsibility as an institution, maintaining excellent incentives for your employees and developing projects with responsibility social enterprise directed towards the welfare of society. According to the financial analysis carried out, it can be said that it is a profitable project, with a payback period of approximately 4 years, with a NPV positive of $ 1004550.37 and an IRR of 52.37%.
