Parque urbano e histórico en el Cantón Rumiñahui

Abstract

El Cantón Rumiñahui rico en historia y tradiciones desconocidas por sus habitantes, cuenta con todos los servicios y equipamientos pero carece de áreas verdes correctamente planificadas que aporten a una mejor calidad de vida y enriquezcan la imagen urbana del Cantón. El presente trabajo es el desarrollo de un proyecto urbano- arquitectónico emplazado en el Cantón Rumiñahui en un entorno histórico ya consolidado y otro de rehabilitación y desarrollo urbano con proyectos a grandes escalas como el paseo escénico Santa Clara, bajo un concepto histórico se busca rescatar y dar a conocer las tradiciones e historia de Sangolquí, generando así un espacio de respiro a la ciudad y punto de conexión entre sus dos entornos inmediatos. Mediante análisis , estudios urbanos, arquitectónicos, sociales y culturales se llego a la propuesta de un Parque Urbano e histórico en el actual Parque Santa Clara, el proyecto del parque existe por parte del municipio más no se lo ha desarrollado. Con el objetivo de ofrecer al usuario áreas de recreación, cultura, deporte y educación se propone talleres de aprendizaje y rehabilitación, áreas para niños, adultos mayores, zonas de descanso y relajación, ciclopaseos, pista para cuadrones, miradores y plazas para el uso público destinadas a puntos de reunión, espectáculos libres, zonas de comercio y obviamente la parte deportiva con canchas de fútbol, vóley, básquet y gimnasio exterior para el beneficio y aporte a una mejor calidad de vida. Es importante el aspecto ecológico por tanto se propone trabajar con un sistema constructivo moderno que contribuya al cuidado del medio ambiente y que se introduzca naturalmente en su entorno, también se mantiene la vegetación existente y se busca rescatar algunas en peligro. El río Santa Clara es determinante, se propone trabajar con este reutilizando su agua de manera ecológica para la introducción de este en el proyecto y tomando sus formas naturales como guías para diseño del parque.

With the aim of offering the user areas of recreation, culture, sports and education, it is proposed learning and rehabilitation workshops, areas for children, senior citizens, rest areas and relaxation, cycle, runway for quadrons, viewpoints and places for public use for points of meeting, free shows, shopping areas and obviously the sports part with courts of soccer, volleyball, basketball and outdoor gym for the benefit and contribution to a better quality of life. The ecological aspect is important, therefore it is proposed to work with a modern constructive system that contributes to the care of the environment and that is introduced naturally in its environment, also the existing vegetation is maintained and it is sought to rescue some in danger. The Santa Clara River is determinant, it is proposed to work with this by reusing its water in an ecological way for the introduction of this in the project and taking their natural forms as guides for park design.
