The investigation of isolation and identification of microbial genera was made from 7 soil samples, 6 water-sediment samples and 7 samples of rice traps taken from the Limoncocha Biological Reserve, which were analyzed in the laboratory of the International University SEK Quito-Ecuador in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, for the effect it started with the isolations: General, obtaining pure and / or purified cultures, then differential stains were made for bacteria, yeasts and for the fungi a simple staining was done. Subsequently, for the identification of gram-positive and gram-negative bacilli bacteria, different biochemical tests were performed. Thus obtaining microorganisms characteristic of soils: 12 bacteria of the genera: Bacillus (4), Pseudomonas (1), Shigella (1), and Family Enterobacteriaceae (5), 9 fungi of the genera: Mucor sp. (1), Aspergillus sp. (1), Trichoderma sp. (1), Fusarium sp. (1), Penicillium sp. (4), and Verticillium sp. (one). While water-sediments were found: 12 bacteria of the genera: Bacillus (5), and Family Enterobacteriaceae (5), and 5 fungi of the genera: Penicillium sp. (1), Fusarium sp. (1), Aspergillus sp. (2), and Mucor sp. (1), in addition bacteria of the gram positive coccus type and yeast strains. In addition to the traps, only one type of Bacillus sp. (one). In total, 21 bacteria and 14 fungi were isolated from the habitats without taking into account those that were not identified. It is known independently that the microorganisms obtained can fulfill a number of activities and functions in their different habitats or means, because for this a more advanced study is needed to confirm the benefit of them. Finally, an inventory was made of the possible microorganisms that could lodge the different habitats of the Limoncocha Biological Reserve. Complying with the objectives set at the beginning of the presentation of the project.
