dc.descriptionThe objective of this research was to determine the criteria for the use, management, and preventive measures of pesticides in Cusubamba parish. For this, the researcher applied a survey to workers in the greenhouses of the sector, in order to implement an action plan that improves the application practices for such compounds. There were 26 families (N = 52) selected, where 100% confirmed to use pesticides in greenhouses: fungicide (64%), insecticide (25%), herbicide (6%), and others (fertilizers 5%). Once the study was analyzed, it was determined that 80.8% have never received training related to the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's); while 100% of respondents mentioned it is necessary to receive training on the subject (preventive measures). For this reason, the delivery and socialization of a leaflet was developed as part of an awareness stage with the studied population.es
dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el criterio de uso, manejo y medidas preventivas de los plaguicidas en la parroquia Cusubamba. Para ello, se aplicó una encuesta a los trabajadores en los invernaderos del sector, con el fin de implementar un plan de acción que mejore las prácticas de aplicación de dichos compuestos. Se seleccionaron 26 familias (N=52), donde el 100% afirmó utilizar plaguicidas en los invernaderos; fungicida (64%), insecticida (25%), herbicida (6%) y otros (fertilizantes 5%). Una vez analizado el estudio se determinó que el 80,8% nunca han recibido capacitación relacionadas al uso de Equipos de Protección Personal (EPP´s); mientras que el 100% de los encuestados mencionaron la necesidad de recibir capacitación sobre el tema (medidas preventivas). Por esta razón, se desarrolló la entrega y socialización de un tríptico como parte de una etapa de concientización con la población estudiada.es
