Abstract: Objectives. To measure the level of ergonomic risk due to forced postures and to determine the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in nursing assistant staff. Materials and methods. Descriptive, cross-sectional study, aimed at auxiliary nurses with the REBA method was applied to determine the level of ergonomic risk due to forced postured and the NORDIC questionnaire for the detection and analysis of symptoms skeletal muscle the results were processed in the excel 2016 program. Results. Using REBA methodology, several positions were analyzed, with ergonomic risk it was obtained that they presented a score of 8 that is equivalent a level of risk 3 (high level) requiring immediate action. On the other hand, the NORDICO questionnaire was obtained that the nursing assistants 90 %presented skeletal muscle discomfort. The most affected areas are the back with 50%, neck 18%, right shoulder with 16 %. Conclusions: Musculoskeletal disorders in the staff studied are more frequent in the lumbar region and neck and there is a high level of ergonomic risk in forced postures.
Description: Objetivos. Medir el nivel de riesgo ergonómico por posturas forzadas y la prevalencia de los trastornos musculo esqueléticos en auxiliares de enfermería. Materiales y métodos. Estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal, dirigido al personal auxiliar de enfermería (N=50). Se aplicó el método REBA para determinar el nivel de riesgo ergonómico por posturas forzadas y el cuestionario Nórdico de Kuorinka para detectar síntomas musculo esqueléticos. Los resultados fueron procesados en el programa Excel 2016. Resultados. Predomina el sexo femenino (80%), de 36 a 50 años (70%). Sintomatología preponderante en el último año es en la región lumbar (60%) y en cuello (30%), y en la última semana igualmente en la región lumbar (64%) y cuello (26%). El método Reba reporta dos actividades con riesgo alto siendo necesaria la actuación de inmediato. Conclusiones. Los trastornos musculoesqueléticos en el personal estudiado son más frecuentes en región lumbar y cuello y existe un nivel de riesgo ergonómico alto en las posturas forzadas.
