Description: Awkward postures of folding area employees were analyzed at a Printing Press in Quito, Ecuador. The REBA method was utilized, and a muscle-bone symptomatology relationship was sought as described by the employees. The information was collected by means of the Standardized Nordic Questionnaire. Four employees of this department were examined, of which only one mentioned wrist symptoms. The other employees did not suffer from any ailment. Upon analyzing their work postures, it was found that the four employees were at risk of contracting MSD. The most problematic job was grabbing the paper for the folders while the binders were at most risk while performing paper wedging. This research will help implement improvements in the folding work by identifying the high-risk areas as well as the most affected body segments while performing different tasks.
