| Abstract: | El presente trabajo es un estudio, dirigido a cuantificar los riesgos posturales en los trabajadores del área de cocción de una industria atunera de la ciudad de Manta y establecer los parámetros básicos en el puesto de trabajo que pudieran relacionarse en el futuro con desordenes musculoesqueléticos de estos trabajadores. Material y métodos: Para ello se utilizó el método REBA (Rápida Evaluación De Cuerpo Entero) en 20 trabajadores con edad promedio de 35 años y antigüedad laboral entre 1 a 15 años en este puesto de trabajo posiblemente expuestos a riesgos musculo esqueléticos. Resultados: Las posturas evaluadas alcanzan el nivel de acción 4, con un nivel de riesgo muy alto por lo que amerita actuación inmediata. Los resultados del estudio permiten evidenciar que la aparición de las LME está asociada a factores de riesgo ergonómico (postura, fuerza, y movimiento). REBA determino la existencia de un alto riesgo de LME para este puesto de trabajo. |
| Description: | The present work is a study, aimed at quantifying postural risks workers in the cooking area of a tuna industry in the city of Manta and establishing the basic parameters in the workplace that could be related in the future with musculoskeletal disorders of these workers. Material and methods: For this, the REBA method (Rapid Whole Body Evaluation) was used in 20 workers with an average age of 35 years and seniority between 1 and 15 years in this job possibly exposed to musculoskeletal risks. Results: The positions evaluated reach the level of action 4, with a very high level of risk, which merits immediate action. The results of the study show that the appearance of SCI is associated with ergonomic risk factors (posture, strength, and movement). REBA generally determined the existence of a high risk of SCI for this job. |
