In order to know in depth the different factors that intervene so that an accident develops, in addition to the type of accident that the workers have suffered, it was considered necessary to apply a Checklist type format for the analysis of safe work in order to implement procedures or specific instructions for the sweeping and collection activities of urban solid waste carried out by the operational staff of the Public Toilet Metropolitan Company, with the purpose that its workers carry out their activities safely and correctly. It should be noted that the occurrence of these accidents has been generated entirely in the workers who carry out the collection activities with a monthly occurrence of falls at different levels where the means of collection used by the majority of the workers is the dump type vehicle with 45% and with 26% in the collector later load of the total accidents. In both vehicles the collection is manual, where the workers have to get off, walk and even run to collect and complete their journey collecting the waste to the vehicle from the road and sidewalks.
