| Abstract: | La necesidad dada por el incremento de eventos climatológicos causantes del colapso de estructuras tanto urbanas como rurales, así como movimientos telúricos que han afectado la nación ecuatoriana en la primera década del presente siglo demanda que el personal de bomberos de la ciudad de Quito aumente y desarrolle de forma sistemática sus capacidades, destrezas y habilidades en las técnicas, procedimientos y protocolos de rescate en estructuras colapsadas. En la actualidad se imparten cursos y capacitaciones para la formación de bomberos con el uso del manual de estructuras colapsadas el cual no ha sido actualizado en un periodo de más de cinco años, situación que afecta su capacidad de abarcar la totalidad de técnicas y protocolos de rescate que permitan incentivar y desarrollar más conocimientos, habilidades, destrezas y actitudes en el bombero para el rescate en estructuras colapsadas. De ahí que se procedió a la restructuración de dicho manual con la finalidad de garantizar la inclusión integral de los aspectos del eje técnico, de apoyo humano de formación y orientación laboral, detallándose las competencias genéricas del bombero de forma tal que logre un mejor desempeño en el ámbito laboral, en función de la misión institucional. Es de señalar que la restructuración del manual de estructuras colapsadas propuesta en la presente investigación garantiza la adquisición de conocimientos y desarrollo integral de competencias genéricas del bombero para el rescate de estructuras colapsadas así como también logra abarcar la totalidad de técnicas y protocolos de rescate que permitan incentivar y desarrollar más conocimientos, habilidades, destrezas y actitudes en el bombero. Es de vital importancia para alcanzar un mejor desempeño de los bomberos en actividades de rescate en estructuras colapsadas, se garantice el conocimiento actualizado de las técnicas, acciones y protocolos a seguir propuestas en la presente investigación, acción que permitirá un mejor desempeño profesional de dicho personal. |
| Description: | The need given by the increase of climatological events causing the collapse of both urban and rural structures as well as earthquakes that have affected the Ecuadorian nation in the first decade of this century demands that the firefighters of the city of Quito increase and develop systematically their abilities, skills and abilities in techniques, procedures and rescue protocols in collapsed structures. At present, courses and trainings are given for the training of firefighters with the use of the manual of collapsed structures, which has not been updated in a period of more than five years, a situation that affects its ability to cover all the techniques and protocols of rescue that allows to encourage and develop more knowledge, abilities, skills and attitudes in the firefighter for the rescue in collapsed structures. That is why the manual was restructured in order to guarantee the integral inclusion of the aspects of the technical axis, human support training and career guidance, detailing the generic skills of the firefighter in a way that achieves a better performance in the workplace, depending on the institutional mission. It should be noted that the restructuring of the manual of collapsed structures proposed in the present investigation guarantees the acquisition of knowledge and integral development of generic competences of the firefighter for the rescue of collapsed structures, as well as covering all the techniques and rescue protocols that allow encourage and develop more knowledge, skills, skills and attitudes in the firefighter. It is of vital importance to achieve a better performance of firefighters in rescue activities in collapsed structures, to ensure updated knowledge of the techniques, actions and protocols to be followed in the present investigation, action that will allow a better professional performance of said personnel . |
