In the world where we live, we have different geographical conformations that the characterize, and makes us propose infrastructure, to mitigate possible natural disasters. Our country is located in an area of high seismic degree and eruptions volcanic, called the belt of fire. For this reason and to know close to the Cotopaxi volcano, I propose in the present research, the design of a Management Center, risk prevention and monitoring of the Cotopaxi volcano, for the city of Latacunga, which through history has been one of the cities most affected by volcanic eruptions, with lava flows, descent pyroclastics, lava, ash and earthquakes of volcanic origin. The proposal of the design of the monitoring center in case of an eventual eruption of the Cotopaxi volcano, is to encourage the provincial and local national government, in which consider, the urban reordering of the canton, relocation of populations developed on the slopes of the Cotopaxi volcano, and on the banks of the rivers, lower the damage to the population. Since historically the longer it passes from its last eruption the closer we are the next. The project links buildings in which they have the responsibility to monitor the integrity of the population, creating different spaces where they can develop the different volcano information, training, training and monitoring activities Cotopaxi.
