Description: The demands of the modern age have led man to synthetic polymers, materials called plastics, materials profusely occupied in the manufacture of the most varied products. The resistance of plastics to decomposition due to humidity generates their accumulation in landfills, it is known that Ecuador generates 4 million tons of garbage per year. At the national level the plastics of greater consumption are: low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride is mainly dedicated to the manufacture of pipe, due to its good mechanical and cost containers for medicine, toiletries and cosmetology are manufactured. The pipe used mostly in construction, does not generate waste in the short term, while the above mentioned containers do it; trying to collaborate with the planes of recycling of plastics, the present project analyzes the characteristic of the thermal of the chloride of flexible chloride, to be used in the manufacture of components for valves of the automotive tires, the scientific problem arises then how does the variation of the physical-thermal mechanical properties of the polyvinyl chloride consumption station, mechanically recycled during its reuse? In the study it was determined that the material after the consumption of the portable hygienic container, is a thermoplastic polymer, of amorphous linear structure, by means of physical tests the density was determined in 1.07 g / cm3, the infrared spectroscopy identifies the material as PVC with the 81.28 % content, the differential scanning calorimetry places the glass transition temperatures at 81.70 ° C and the melting temperature at 243.68 ° C, finally the uniaxial tensile test reveals the yield limit at 55.22 MPa.
