Abstract: | En el presente trabajo de fin de carrera se plantea el diseño de un cementerio modelo en el sur de Quito, sector de Turubamba, zona del Beaterio. Su extensión es de 10 hectáreas aproximadamente, con lo cual se satisface el requerimiento de la zona hasta el año 2020, con cuatro cementerios de este tipo, se caracteriza por ser un cementerio horizontal con integración a la naturaleza. La idea principal es romper con los diseños tradicionales de los cementerios existentes, y lograr que el cementerio se integre al paisaje, para que en el futuro sea un apoyo ecológico para la ciudad. El cementerio está conformado por plataformas a diferentes niveles, la circulación peatonal fue trazada por una gran retícula rectangular, la cual se une por circulaciones de formas curvas trazadas sin un orden determinado. En sus límites se forman las criptas siguiendo las curvas y creando lugares únicos. Los espejos de agua, piletas, plazas, cascadas, etc. tienen por objeto relajar el estado de ánimo que los deudos atraviesan en ese momento. Al recorrer el cementerio se puede descubrir lugares interesantes, novedosos, que no encuentran en otros cementerios. Como complemento de la infraestructura básica, está dotado de administración, capilla, florería, parqueaderos y servicios en general. |
Description: | To culminate the career of architect it is pretended a design of a cemetery, for accomplish the requirements of south zone of Quito until year 2020. In a model which should be replicated four times. His extension is ten hectares approximately, is characterized for being a horizontal cemetery with integration to the nature. The principal idea is to break whit the traditional designs of the existing cemeteries so as to joins to the landscape in the order that it is and ecological support for the city. The cemetery it self is shaped by platforms in different levels, the pedestrian traffic was planned by a great reticule rectangular which joins for traffics of forms planned without a certain order, in its limits the crypts are formed following the curves and creating the unique places. The mirrors of water, sinks, cracked squares, etc they take as an object to relax the profound sorrow that grieves over the kinsmen in that moment. When the people walk through the cemetery can discover interesting and not repetitive places that they will not find in other cemeteries. As complemented of the basic infrastructure is provided with administration, chapel, flower shop, parking and services in general. |
