Diseño arquitectónico del nuevo centro de danza integral de la ciudad de Loja - Ecuador

Abstract

En los últimos años, la disciplina de la Danza ha sido un eje importante en la educación y actividades culturales de los lojanos. El auge del arte y la cultura se produjo durante la época de los 90’s y 2000, donde la inclinación de las nuevas generaciones hacia las actividades artístico-culturales era notoria. Es por esto que en un esfuerzo conjunto entre el Municipio de Loja y el Consejo Provincial empezaron a potencializar el talento de su gente. Se dió origen al Grupo de Danza Folclórica del Consejo Provincial y el grupo del Centro Universitario de Difusión Cultural (CUDIC). Durante esta época la Municipalidad tomó la iniciativa de crear la semana del estudiante, la cual consiste en un concurso de coreografías intercolegiales de danza. A su vez se creó un evento llamando “Jueves Cultural”, el cual da apertura a la participación de los diferentes grupos de baile existentes. En la actualidad la danza no es solo una actividad de recreación cultural, sino que se ha convertido en una fuente de ingresos económicos para la población. Es por esto que solo en Ciudad de Loja existen alrededor de 15 academias de danza. Entre las principales se encuentran, Reysodance (anteriormente llamado CUDIC), Loja Danza y Loxadance. Sin embargo, ninguna de estas academias cuenta con la infraestructura adecuada para realizar esta actividad, ya que estas academias se adaptaron a edificaciones existentes, las mismas que fueron creadas para otros usos. Por lo tanto no cumplen con condiciones de tamaño, forma e infraestructura que responda a los movimientos espaciales coreográficos, ni a la normativa respectiva. En este sentido la presente investigación pretende determinar la situación actual de los 3 principales centros de danza de la Ciudad de Loja con la finalidad de establecer las principales falencias y oportunidades para el desarrollo y práctica de los diferentes tipos de danza.

In recent years, the discipline of Dance has been an important axis in the education and cultural activities of the Lojanos. The rise of art and culture took place during the 90's and 2000, when the inclination of the new generations towards artistic-cultural activities was notorious. That is why in a joint effort between the Municipality of Loja and the Provincial Council they began to empower the talent of its people. The Folkloric Dance Group of the Provincial Council and the group of the University Center for Cultural Diffusion (CUDIC) were born. During this time the Municipality took the initiative to create the student's week, which consists of a contest of intercollegiate dance choreography. At the same time an event was created called "Cultural Thursday", which opens the participation of the different existing dance groups. Nowadays, dance is not only an activity of cultural recreation, but it has become a source of economic income for the population. That is why only in City of Loja there are around 15 dance academies. Among the main ones are Reysodance (formerly called CUDIC), Loja Danza and Loxadance. However, none of these academies has the adequate infrastructure to carry out this activity, since these academies were adapted to existing buildings, the same ones that were created for other uses. Therefore, they do not comply with size, shape and infrastructure conditions that respond to the choreographic space movements, nor to the respective regulations. In this sense, the present investigation intends to determine the current situation of the 3 main dance centers of the City of Loja with the purpose of establishing the main flaws and opportunities for the development and practice of the different types of dance.
