Abstract: El presente proyecto titula “Análisis de la demanda de centros infantiles especializados y su incidencia en el desarrollo integral de las niñas y niños con discapacidad en el DMQ año 2016”. El mismo ha sido desarrollado con información y datos reales de diferentes fuentes como el Instituto de la Ciudad de Quito, Unidad Patronato Municipal San José, COMEDIS, CONADIS, SETEDIS, MIES, INEC entre otros y han sido parte del proceso de investigación personas que se encuentran relacionadas con el título del proyecto a través de entrevistas con expertos, focus group y encuestas. El trabajo en referencia analizó la relación que existe entre el desarrollo integral de las niñas y niños de 1 a 4 años de edad con discapacidad y los centros infantiles especializados; sí existe la necesidad de estos centros en el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito y qué características y condiciones deben tener. El trabajo consta de tres fases: el problema de la investigación que permite desarrollar la concepción del planteamiento del problema y el método, la fundamentación teórica y diagnóstico que articula la fundamentación teórica, el diagnóstico y la investigación de campo, y la validación del proyecto de investigación y desarrollo que permite visibilizar la demostración de la hipótesis, evaluar financieramente al proyecto, obtener conclusiones y recomendaciones, entre otros. El aporte del resultado a obtener es proponer la implementación de centros de desarrollo infantil especializados públicos con la finalidad de atender la demanda existente de la población en el DMQ.
Description: This project entitled "Analysis of the demand for specialized care centers and their impact on the overall development of children with disabilities in the Metropolitan District of Quito 2016". It has been developed with information and actual data from different sources, such as: the Institute of the City of Quito, the Municipal Department “Patronato San Jose”, COMEDIS, CONADIS, SETEDIS, MIES, INEC (acronym in Spanish) among others and that have been part of the research process with people who they are related to the title of the project through interviews with experts, focus groups and surveys. This work seeks to analyze the relationship between the integral development of children 1 to 4 years old with disabilities and the specialized centers for children; it exists the need for these centers in the Metropolitan District of Quito and what features and conditions must have. This work has three phases: the problem research that allows to develop the concept of approach to the problem and the method, the theoretical foundation and diagnosis that articulates the theoretical foundation, diagnosis and research; and validation of the project research and its development that allows visible demonstration of the hypothesis, financially evaluate the project, draw conclusions and recommendations, among others. The contribution of the result to be achieved is to propose the implementation of specialized public centers for child development in order to meet the demand of the population in the Metropolitan District of Quito.
