Description: The starting point of this investigation is undeniably the meeting of Blanca Guillermina's writings. I am not taking on this meeting by chance, but as an opportunity to, through discovering the truth, unveil a reality that had become taboo. This opportunity has additionally turned itself into the possibility from those invisible threads, which only have the affective dimension of language; enter into the process of self-curing, without neglecting the level or rigor that the subject required. Ideologically, society tends to turn into a perverse subject that represses, that hides the very possibility of expression, and when the human, from his personal condition, tries to show himself in the face of unequal situations, of marginalization, he turns into an obstacle, easily stigmatized into craziness. This thesis intends to demonstrate that people exist who, confronted with the reality of injustice, are lead by their special sensibility to find final answers which have nothing to do with the installed concept of the psychiatrist. The purpose of this thesis is founded basically in the rescue, the contextualization, the analysis and the reflection of the literary texts of Blanca Guillermina; condensed into both an autobiographic and a poetic narration that complement themselves wherf put together. All of these elements finally lead to what we could consider the final product of the thesis. That is to say, th& literaiy script, structured so that it can be fulfilled in the future, that is, viable from the technical point of view. This script is written, taking into account the transcendental passages of Blanca Guillermina's life, from her narration and allowing for flashbacks, to integrate the literary texts. The historiographic context considers some of the transversal axes that determinately influenced the life and writings of Blanca Guillermina. Just to refer to some of them, I will cite: the rise and fall of the exportation of banana and coffee, the relationship of semi-salaried landowners established in the Costa haciendas, the "Gloriosa," Velasquismo, the Cuban Revolution, etc. The contexts of gender and religion, which give space to a double morality, in which the very "sins" of the powers-that-be are hidden behind an image of Christian charity. In effect the linking between the church and education has contributed greatly to the fact that the boys and especially the girls and adolescents in at-risk situations or marginalization, are treated as objects of protection and not proper subjects who deserve rights, through the Doctrine of the Irregular Situation. Blanca Guillermina was institutionalized for five years in a convent and forced to clean, wash and iron clothing and to cook, etc., to earn the education that she would receive from the nuns. This literary analysis of the texts refers to the model proposed by Jakobson (Prague School) and implies the retaking of each one of the five functions of language and . exemplifies them with texts that are taken equally from both her narrative and her poems.
