The objective of this research is to implement the experimental results obtained in the laboratory, and transferred to the field to optimize the process Biodegradation of the bottom of the tanks. In the field, five pilot bioreactors of different proportions were built of raw material, to determine which of these is more efficient in time of treatment and economically viable to implement it in the future. The raw material used to biodegrade the residue was sawdust, molasses, inorganic nutrients and native soil. The covers of bioreactors 4 and 5, were plastic, to check whether the increase in environmental temperature influences the efficiency (time), of the treatment. To determine the biodegradability of the substrate, the following parameters: pH, total hydrocarbons (TPH), temperature, nitrogen-phosphorus ratio, moisture and microbiological counts. After 144 days of treatment, the concentration of TPH in Bioreactor 4 decreased 63.3%, so this was selected to perform a cost analysis in the implementation and maintenance phases. |
