Abstract: El Ecuador debe buscar nuevas fuentes de ingresos; el turismo es la cuarta fuente de ingresos después del petróleo, banano y camarón. En otros países el turismo es la principal fuente de ingresos. Actualmente estamos profesionalizados y capacitados para el sector hotelero, lo que generara varias plazas de trabajo en lo que es este sector. Los problemas que sufre el turismo en el Ecuador, como la falta de organización para promocionar el país en el exterior, para lo que necesitamos coordinación entre el sector publico y privado, participando en eventos de turismo internacional. El Ecuador se encuentra limitado al norte con Colombia, al sur con Perú y al Occidente con el Océano Pacifico. Es la segunda República más pequeña de América del sur, con afluencia de corrientes marinas y la importancia de los Andes, de una diversidad única en el mundo en cuanto a su flora y fauna. Todo esto en una pequeña extensión de cuatro regiones diferentes: Sierra, Oriente, Costa y Galápagos. La Ciudad de Quito se encuentra entre las mas bellas de América del sur, conservando como siempre su parte histórica, compuesta por una extraordinaria arquitectura de casas antiguas y complementada con grandes patios, además se ubican en el centro de la ciudad, diez iglesias patrimoniales, entre estas las que mas sobresalen son San Francisco y la Catedral que están entre las mas hermosas edificaciones coloniales de América. Contamos también con importantes museos que atesoran trascendentales obras maestras de pintura y escultura colonial.

The City of Quito is among the most beautiful in America. south, preserving as always its historical part, composed of a extraordinary architecture of old houses and complemented with large courtyards, in addition they are located in the center of the city, ten churches heritage, among these the most outstanding are San Francisco and the Cathedral that are among the most beautiful colonial buildings of America. We also have important museums that treasure Transcendental masterpieces of colonial painting and sculpture.
