Description: The present research sought to find the relationship between empathy (perspective taking, empathic concern, personal inconformity and fantasy) and quality of customer service (Reliability, responsiveness, security, empathy and tangible aspects). The sample used within the Ministry of Labor Relations of the areas of Human Talent, Management and Quality Evaluation, Administrative Management and Financial Administration (N = 100, 50 men and 50 women) ranged between the ages of 25 to 65 years. The methodology was correlational and field, making an application of the questionnaires: Interpersonal and Servqual Reactivity Index. The initial hypothesis was that while the level of empathy is high, the quality of service will be high and while the level of empathy is low, the quality of service will be low. The results indicated that the initial hypothesis raised if it was proven since it is related to empathy and its different types with the quality of service and its dimensions. Future studies could increase more information about this relationship and thus be able to put it into practice to see improvements within society.
