Plan de rehabilitación social del Centro Histórico de Quito

Abstract

La investigación que se presenta como tesis de grado es el planteamiento de un Plan de Rehabilitación para el Centro Histórico. Con este plan pretendo descubrir los problemas sociales que sufre esta zona y las alternativas que existen para solucionarlos. Me parece muy importante resolver los problemas sociales del Centro Histórico, para de esta manera conformar un entorno en donde puedan darse las actividades turísticas. Al superar aquello que impide surgir a esta área se podría lograr mayor afluencia de visitantes, que no solo vengan atraídos por los valores culturales con los que cuenta esta zona, sino porque se sientan seguros y a gusto. La falta de conocimientos de mi propia ciudad me llevó a optar por este tema, ya que me parece primordial saber con qué contamos para luego poder recomendarlo al extranjero, toda vez que Quito lleva el título internacional de Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad. Teniendo en cuenta el gran número de turistas que ingresan a la ciudad, ya sea de visita, o sólo de paso, se puede lograr posicionar al "Centro Histórico" como un producto turístico que satisfaga las necesidades de los visitantes. Por otro lado, la recuperación del Centro Histórico no sólo debe tener como función la actividad turística, también es importante para rescatar nuestra historia e identificarnos con ella. Me parece que esta tarea así como les corresponde a las entidades Municipales, es deber de toda la comunidad, participar en este proceso. Es por eso que yo me propongo, a través de esta investigación, cumplir con este compromiso que le debo a mi ciudad. Este trabajo comprende cuatro capítulos y sus respectivos anexos, en los que se trata de dar una sucinta visión histórica, luego la importancia de la ciudad como atractivo turístico, en el primero y segundo capítulos; el tercer capítulo trata el problema social del Centro Histórico y el cuarto tema .aborda las posibles soluciones.

The research that is presented as a thesis is the approach of a Rehabilitation Plan for the Historic Center. With this plan I intend discover the social problems that this area suffers and the alternatives that exist to solve them. I think it is very important to solve the social problems of the Center Historical, in this way to create an environment where the tourist activities. By overcoming what prevents this area from arising, achieve greater influx of visitors, who are not only attracted by the values with this area, but because they feel safe and comfortable. The lack of knowledge of my own city led me to opt for this subject, since it seems paramount to know what we have to then be able to recommend it abroad, since Quito has the international title of Cultural heritage of Humanity. Taking into account the large number of tourists entering the city, be it a visit, or just passing through, you can get to position the "Historical Center" as a tourist product that meets the needs of visitors. On the other hand, the recovery of the Historic Center must not only have As a function of tourism activity, it is also important to rescue our history and identify with it. It seems to me that this task as well as corresponds to the Municipal entities, it is the duty of the entire community to participate in this process. That's why I propose, through this research, to fulfill this commitment that I owe to my city. This work includes four chapters and their respective annexes, in the that it's about giving a succinct historical vision, then the importance of the city as a tourist attraction, in the first and second chapters; the third chapter deals the social problem of the Historical Center and the fourth theme. solutions
