| Abstract: | El análisis del mercado potencial del consumo de queso en el cantón El Carmen y su influencia en el desarrollo de las plantas productoras de este producto, permite el análisis de la situación del sector, considerando las condiciones agrícolas y ganaderas idóneas para desarrollar esta actividad. La metodología utilizada para la recolección de datos fue la investigación de campo, mediante la aplicación de la encuesta. Ésta permitió obtener información útil para el análisis y estudio del mercado potencial de queso en el cantón El Carmen y como influye en el desarrollo de plantas productoras. Se evidenció que existe una demanda insatisfecha acumulada de consumo de queso de alrededor 24´538.641 kg durante los 5 años de proyección al 2019, comprobando que existe un mercado no cubierto. El análisis concluye la incidencia directa del consumo de queso sobre el desarrollo de plantas productoras en el cantón El Carmen. En la actualidad existe una sola planta productora, la cual no abastece al mercado del cantón por su capacidad instalada, tomando en cuenta que en el cantón se produce aproximadamente 150.000 litros de leche al día. Bajos estos antecedentes como resultados del análisis, es evidente que existe un mercado potencial no cubierto, que permite el desarrollo y crecimiento de las plantas productoras en el sector, además que se cuenta con materia prima elemental para la producción sin incurrir en altos costos de transporte lo cual garantiza la vida útil de la planta. |
| Description: | The analysis of the potential consumption of cheese in the village of El Carmen and its influence on the development of the production facilities of the product market, allows the analysis of the situation of the sector, considering this activity suitable to develop under the actual agricultural and livestock conditions. The methodology used for data collection was the field research, by applying the survey. This yielded useful information for the analysis and studies of the potential market of cheese in the village of El Carmen and its influence on the development of production plants. It was evident that there is an accumulated unmet consumer demand around cheese 24'538.641 kg during the 5-year projection to 2019, ensuring that exists a market uncovered. The analysis concludes direct impact of the consumption of cheese on the development of production plants in the village of El Carmen. Nowadays there is only one production plant, which is not able to supply the village’s market because of its installed capacity, considering that in village about 150,000 liters of milk are produced per day. Under this background and analysis results, it is clear there is a potential not covered market, enabling the development and growth of production plants in the sector, also it has basic raw material for production without incurring in high transport costs, which guarantees the life of the plant. |
