Abstract: | Las tendencias modernas sobre regulación ambiental apuntan hacia un
equilibrio entre el uso y la protección del recurso natural, como condición para
satisfacer las necesidades de sustento y desarrollo de la sociedad.
En este contexto de la Norma ISO 14001, por ser parte del Sistema de Gestión
Ambiental permite identificar, controlar y minimizar posibles impactos que
puedan perjudicar al ambiente.
El Ecuador al ser el país con mayor número de hectáreas de cultivos de flores
de invernadero, ha permitido que el prestigio de su producto sea reconocido
tanto a nivel internacional como nacional, esto se debe ha su alta calidad como
la gran cantidad de variedades en flores.
Este proyecto tiene por objetivo principal establecer una Base para la
Implementación del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental ISO 14001 en las Áreas de
Cosecha y Oficinas de la Florícola “Bellavista Flowers”.
El proceso metodológico se basa en un diagnostico general de la Florícola
frente a la Norma ISO 14001: 1996, la misma que permitirá establecer una
visión real de la situación de la empresa considerando a una futura certificación.
Este Diagnostico Ambiental General utilizará diferentes herramientas de apoyo
para cumplir con el objetivo propuesto.
Las herramientas de apoyo utilizadas son: listas de chequeo, Inspección de las
instalaciones de la Florícola en las áreas de cosecha y oficinas, Encuestas,
Evaluación de Aspectos e Impactos Ambientales, Registros de información
(productos, residuos, etc.) y la Normativa legal.
El proyecto comprende las siguientes fases:
I. Definición de la importancia de la Norma ISO 14001: 1996
II. Interpretación de las cláusulas de la Norma ISO 14001: 1996
III. Descripción y diagnostico de las instalaciones de la florícola enfatizando
en las áreas de cosecha y oficinas.
IV. Interpretación de los datos facilitados por la florícola, para su respectivo
análisis y elaboración de cuadros informativos sobre productos Y
residuos.
V. Establecer una metodología de Evaluación de Aspectos e Impactos
Ambientales para las actividades que se desarrollan en el área de
cosecha y oficinas.
Los resultados obtenidos en la evaluación de aspectos ambientales permitirá
establecer los compartimientos (Suelo, aire, agua, biota, social) más afectados
para las diferentes actividades que se realizan en las áreas de Cosecha y
Oficina.
Las conclusiones y recomendaciones establecidas en este proyecto, relacionan
la situación de la florícola frente a la Norma ISO 14001 para establecer dicha
base de implementación. Modern trends in environmental regulation point towards a balance between the use and protection of the natural resource, as a condition for satisfy the needs of sustenance and development of society. In this context of the ISO 14001 Standard, as part of the Management System Environmental allows to identify, control and minimize possible impacts that they can harm the environment. Ecuador being the country with the largest number of hectares of flower crops greenhouse, has allowed the prestige of its product to be recognized both internationally and nationally, this is due to its high quality as the large number of varieties in flowers. The main objective of this project is to establish a Basis for the Implementation of the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 in the Areas of Harvest and Offices of the Flower Grower "Bellavista Flowers". The methodological process is based on a general diagnosis of the Floriculture against the ISO 14001: 1996 Standard, the same that will allow to establish a Real vision of the situation of the company considering a future certification. This General Environmental Diagnostic will use different support tools to meet the proposed objective. The support tools used are: checklists, Inspection of the Floricultural facilities in harvest areas and offices, Surveys, Evaluation of Environmental Aspects and Impacts, Information Registers (products, waste, etc.) and the legal regulations. The project includes the following phases: I. Definition of the importance of the ISO 14001: 1996 Standard II. Interpretation of the clauses of ISO 14001: 1996 III. Description and diagnosis of floricultural facilities emphasizing in the harvest areas and offices. IV. Interpretation of the data provided by the floriculture, for its respective analysis and preparation of informative tables on products Y waste. V. Establish a methodology for the Evaluation of Aspects and Impacts Environment for the activities that take place in the area of harvest and offices. The results obtained in the evaluation of environmental aspects will allow establish the most affected compartments (soil, air, water, biota, social) for the different activities that are carried out in the Harvest areas and Office. The conclusions and recommendations established in this project, relate the situation of the floriculture against the ISO 14001 Standard to establish said base of implementation. |
