Rehabilitación urbana del centro consolidado de el Quinche

Abstract

Al ser la Basílica de El Quinche considerada una de las 7 maravillas del cantón Quito debe tener un entorno que jerarquice el elemento arquitectónico y le dé un merecido homenaje a la Santísima Virgen de El Quinche poniendo un jardín a sus pies. El Proyecto propone recuperar el espacio urbano para de este modo recuperar la identidad de los habitantes y revalorizar el entorno de un icono de religiosidad promoviendo el trabajo digno y organizado en todas sus formas generando recursos propios en beneficio de toda la Parroquia de El Quinche

Being the Basilica of El Quinche considered one of the 7 wonders of the canton Quito should have an environment that hierarchize the architectural element and give it a well-deserved tribute to the Blessed Virgin of El Quinche putting a garden at his feet. The Project proposes to recover the urban space for in this way recover the identity of the inhabitants and revalue the environment of an icon of religiosity promoting decent and organized work in all their forms generating their own resources for the benefit of the whole parish of El Quinche
