This final thesis is a continuation of the research on urban environmental noise in the city of Quito that has been carried out since 2009. The population and sample chosen for the present study are six points that previously were not have been monitored located in the south-eastern zone of the city of Quito, which were sampled during the seven days of the week from 6 am to 12 pm. The variables monitored for the tabulation of data and validation of the models made by Lombeida, M. and Moreno, D. in 2012, were traffic flow, vehicular speed and NPSeq of traffic for each point, these variables were measured simultaneously to decrease the percentage of error in the different samples.
